Rhonda Murray, Partner
Rhonda has been practicing law for over 25 years. She enjoys assisting clients with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, and Home Purchases, Sales and Mortgages. Rhonda obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1993 from the University of British Columbia. Rhonda spent many years in both Provincial and Supreme Court advocating for family law clients in the past. More recently, Rhonda turned her focus to less adversarial matters. Rhonda grew up in Vancouver and relocated to Maple Ridge approximately 17 years ago. Rhonda has 3 dogs, many other pets and has a genuine love for animals and the outdoors. She served for 6 years as the sole Public Board Member for the BC Veterinary Medical Association, which she found extremely rewarding. She sponsors two foster children and believes that helping others is the cornerstone of a fulfilling life.
Nora Radac, Partner
Nora has been a lawyer for over 17 years. Born and raised in Romania, Nora attended the University of Babes Bolyai in Cluj Napoca, Romania, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. She then practiced as in-house counsel with a Romanian bank and had regular conduct of files dealing with real estate, security transactions, foreclosure proceedings and international banking transactions. Nora emigrated to Canada in 2003 and she earned her second law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008. Nora was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2009 and she now restricts her practice to Family Law. Nora has experience appearing in both the BC Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal. She also has extensive experience conducting Provincial Court family law hearings. In her spare time Nora enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, which includes skiing, hiking, camping and biking with her young family. She is fluent in both English and Romanian.
Courtney Caldwell, Associate Lawyer
Courtney grew up in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. While completing her law degree Courtney was involved with Student Legal Services and the Youth Criminal Defence Office where she specifically handled criminal files. Courtney has extensive experience working for a non-profit organization that provided free legal services to low-income individuals. She gained experience in Residential Tenancy, Human Rights, Employment, and Family Law. She later practiced solely in Criminal Law. and Family law. Courtney has represented individuals in Administrative Tribunal Hearings, Bail Hearings, Provincial Court, Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. She is extremely seasoned in litigation and is very comfortable in the Courtroom. Courtney resides in Maple Ridge with her family. She is currently a member of both the British Columbia Law Society and the Alberta Law Society.
Courtney focuses on Criminal Defence and Family Law throughout the Lower Mainland. Courtney understands that legal matters can be overwhelming and stressful and she works very hard for her clients to alleviate as much of this as possible.
Outside the office, Courtney enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband, family and dogs. She has a genuine love for animals, as well as exploring and immersing herself in other cultures around the world.
Tamana Sediqi, Associate Lawyer
Prior to attending law school, Tamana completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University with a certificate in Legal Studies. As part of her practicum program, she spent two summers working at the Ministry of Justice (Legal Services Branch), in Vancouver where she was exposed to a wide variety of civil litigation work. Tamana obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan.
Tamana completed her Articles with Meadowridge Law and later joined as an Associate practicing in the area of Family Law and Civil Litigation. Tamana’s passion for Family Law began in law school learning about various types of litigation issues that arise from complex family disputes. Tamana’s genuine desire to work closely with clients and her passion for applying her specialized knowledge and practical skills in various Family Law issues allows her to provide her clients with effective and creative solutions to various types of legal disputes. Tamana has successfully represented clients at mediations, four-way meetings and Judicial Case Conferences/Family Case Conferences, and has extensive advocacy experience in both Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Outside of the office, Tamana enjoys travelling, working out, watching the latest movies and trying different restaurants in the Lower Mainland.
Karl Doering, Articled Student
Karl joined Meadowridge Law in early 2019 after obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. During law school, Karl worked as a faculty research assistant and volunteered with Access Pro Bono and with Pro Bono Students Canada on VIATEC's mergers and acquisitions project. He also held the positions of Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Club and First Year Representative of the UVic Business Law Association. Prior to law school, Karl received a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in English from Simon Fraser University.
Prior to joining Meadowridge Law, Karl worked as a summer student at Hootsuite’s legal department, where he gained exposure to a variety of corporate and commercial matters
Outside of work, Karl enjoys sports, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his 2 Italian Greyhounds.
